Lifeguards at the beaches on Tybee Island have been cautious with Hurricane Danielle’s choppy waters and riptides and with Hurricane Earl on it’s way, the seas will be getting worse.

Channel 9 WTVM has reported that “Lifeguards are saying children need to stay close to shore and out of the water because the conditions are much too dangerous.” and that “The waves are coming in a lot harder than usual,” said Tybee Ocean Rescue Lt. Kala Morrison, who spent the day watching out for swimmers.
