Well folks, when you pack your bags this summer for Tybee Island, be aware that the City has raised parking fines (Current fines $35 no parking zones, and $20 expired meters). On a positive note though City Manager Diane Schleicher said that the city of Tybee would like to make it easier for visitors to find legal parking by increasing the amount of spaces.

In this economy when cities are cutting expenditures daily, we’ll have to see if the City truly has enough money to back this up or if they are just daydreaming. For more info, check out Tybee Island increases parking fines | savannahnow.com
