Opened since the late 80’s, the Crab Shack is loved my locals and tourists alike.  From their slogan, “Where the elite eat in their bare feet” to their kitche décor, makes you feel as if you are dinning at a restaurant from a bygone era.

Not only do they serve up huge platters of amazing seafood (crab being the specialty) they also have unique staged photo areas, gator feeding, and a massive tree outside in their popular patio dinning area.  There is big hole in the middle of the table with a garbage can to discard all the shells and crab legs from the massive seafood feast you are assured to partake in once inside.  You’ll see Cats roaming the grounds as well looking for leftovers and there is even a little house near the gift shop for the kitties to live.

Open 7 days a week, The Crab Shack is not just a place to eat, but an overall Island Tybee experience for the whole family.
